DARTMOUTH BABY AND CAKESMASH PHOTOGRAPHER ~ JENNIFER SULLIVAN PHOTOGRAPHY

I first met Olivia a year ago when she came to me for her Newborn portraits here in my Dartmouth studio. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow over the past year and capturing some milestones. I was so excited when mom said let's do a flamingo theme. I love flamingos! I wanted to keep it simple and classy but still add a splash of tropical and fun.

I love the little flamingo cake topper from Creative Elephant.  It gave the cake the little added something that it needed.  

We always start a cakesmash session with some birthday portraits.  This time we were able to incorporate a couple special items from Olivia's newborn session.  Her headband was a little big when she a newborn but fit her perfectly now.  This heartbeat bunny is very special to her and was a perfect addition to her first birthday portrait.  

Usually a favorite part of the session is the bath.  I have both a baby clawfoot tub and this vintage wash bin.  There are choices for the bath too.  We could do a bubble bath or a milk bath.  Some things to add to the mild bath is greenery, flowers and fruit like strawberries or citrus fruits.  That would be for for a summer cakesmash!
