Fresh 48 Sessions are quickly becoming my favorite kind of session. I love capturing that joy of a new baby, that love at first sight. If you know me, you know I love babies…I mean really love babies. I love all those new little features, that wrinkly new skin, all those little creases and rolls. There is just a feeling about the maternity ward that you can’t find anywhere else. St. Lukes Hospital sure has changed since I delivered my last baby there 10 years ago but it sure does bring back all those memories walking into that place.

When I walked into this hospital room and saw this adorable couple with this new little baby, joy just filled my heart to be able to capture all these little details to treasure. I love these little wraps to add a pop of color but I also love to grab those little hospital details too…details that are very different than a studio newborn session.
